The Penn State Harrisburg Student Government Association will be hosting the first annual “It’s Bigger Than You" 5K – A Run For A Purpose on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 as a festival event featuring a 5K race in which participants may run or walk. The 5K route will be completely on the Penn State Harrisburg campus. Registration is slated to begin at 1:00 pm, where participants will receive their t-shirt, "goodie" bag, and race number. Time will be tracked for racers, and family and friends will be able to view their results after the race. The race itself will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, time enough for walkers to complete the track. A 1-Mile Fun Run will take place at 2:45 pm, just before the end of the 5K race.
